In Straight Line Leadership, Dusan Djukich says that most people just give up too soon.
They start things and don’t finish.
I hear stuff like…
“I sent 50 messages and no one bought.”
“I ran one Facebook ad and only had 2 bookings with no sales.”
“I tried hiring a VA but they weren’t any good.”
“I can’t find good salespeople.”
“I can’t find a good operations manager.”
“People in my niche wouldn’t buy through video.”
Really?
I’ve recorded 1000’s of videos. Done 100’s of in person speeches. Had 1000’s of sales conversations. Sent 10’s of 1000’s of messages for years on end. Hired 100’s and 100’s of people.
And still don’t feel like I’ve done enough.
While we were hanging out here in person…
Lane and I had a talk that were see the same people year after year and not any further along.
Dabbling in too much shit. Not committed to anything.
They keep hopping from thing to thing instead of just pushing one thing to the finish line.
Anything worth doing takes at least 6-12 months of commitment. Minimum.
You’re probably just getting started.
Keep going.
